COURSE FACILITATOR
Dorothy Lim has 20 years of experience in the publishing industry as editor/publisher/trainer. As an Editor in a major publishing firm, she worked with writers and designers to produce quality educational material. In 1992, she founded PublishWrite Consultancy, which was the first and, for many years, the only company providing integrated training in writing, editing, designing and publishing in Singapore. She delighted trainees and clients with immediately-applicable skills training, in highly interactive workshops, which helped propel some into full-time and freelance careers as writers, editors and designers.

In 2000, Dorothy founded Seed Media, through which she published quality inspirational material. Now, Dorothy continues to pursue her passion for publishing, and to train others to do the same.

SWOP!

Hear Hear!
We're going eco! ...and saving you some cash along the way....

So here's how it goes:

Come with your friends and SWOP your second hand stuff with others. Each participant must bring a minimum of 4 items, bring home up to 10 items of whatever gems you find. All remaining items that aren't taken home will be shipped to benefit the toddlers and young adults of East Timor, with transport and packaging paid for using the money collected. This enables us to come together and SWOP for a good cause. More about Timor: http://www.loveeasttimor.com/
Scroll down, for details of Photography Showcase .

Entry Fee: $5 (To help in set-up and packaging of donations) Extra financial donations will be more than helpful.

Items Accepted: Male & Female clothings, bags, accessories and female shoes/slippers. Styles preferably for young and mid-aged adults both work and casual. Tattered, pungent smelling or stained items will be returned at the entrance screening.

P.S: As this is a SWOP among Singaporeans, do be generous with your Addidas, Nikes, Zaras and TOPSHOPs etc. This isn't a total dumping ground for your past camp T-shirts and old P.E stuff although we will gladly accept all items in good condition, as you never know which ex-MGS girl will appreciate your old ACS P.E shirt
: )

Mummies Corner:
Yep! This will be a good time for mummies to come together, SWOP baby stuff and mummy tips over coffee at a different section. Same entry fee rules apply. Mummies can cross over to the adults corner to SWOP your own clothes, but please note there will be no baby-sitting corner if you bring your toddler.

Items accepted: Toddler clothes, books and hard toys for ages 1month - 6 yrs old. Soft toys and items that are tattered, pungent smelling or stained will be returned at the entrance upon screening.
